PAYMENT:
An invoice will be emailed confirming your bids after the auction has been completed. Payment is required within 3 business days from of the date of purchase.
The accepted forms of payment are Cash, Personal or Business Checks, Wire Transfer, Credit Card. Be advised of the 4% convenience fee applied to all credit card, debit card. Powell Farms Inc. reserves the right to charge the purchaser’s credit card on file an amount up to the full purchase price plus storage fees for items not paid for and pickup up in a timely manner.

All items sell as-is, where-is with no warranties or guarantees by Powell Farms Inc. or its employees. Bidders/Buyers are responsible for equipment inspections before the auction to determine quality and value before bidding. Pictures and descriptions are listed for your convenience and will not be interpreted as a guarantee. All sales are final and binding. This includes accidental bidding. Invoices will be emailed after the auction is concluded.

All out-of-state buyers must have a KENTUCKY-issued agriculture exemption number to be tax-exempt. Kentucky sales tax of 6% will apply to all items. Dealers will need to send a copy of the resale certificate to have sales tax removed before payment. Farmers will need to send in a KENTUCKY-issued agriculture exemption number to have sales tax removed before payment.

Tax Exemption: A new Kentucky law requires that local and out of state farmers must apply for an KY Agriculture Exemption Number to make qualified purchases for the farm exempt from sales tax.
The Application for the Agriculture Exemption Number, Form 51A800, is available at www.revenue.ky.gov under Sales Tax forms. Completed applications should be submitted by email to DOR.Webresponsesalestax@ky.gov or mailed to DOR’s Division of Sales and Use Tax, Station 66, P.O. Box 181, Frankfort, KY 40602-0181.
